Mackenzie Health is seeking a skilled Nurse Care Provider to join its team at the Cortellucci Vaughan Site. As a valued member of the healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing holistic, patient-centered care to patients with complex care needs, as per the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Working collaboratively with the interprofessional care team to create a world-class healthcare experience for patients and families.
- Contribute to safe, quality care by effectively managing a workload, exercising sound professional judgment, and using best practice guidelines.
Requirements
- Current Certificate of Registration in the General Class with the College of Nurses of Ontario required.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Enrolled in or successfully completed the IV Therapy Course.
Preferred Qualifications
- Practical Nurse Diploma from an approved nursing program.
- Recent completion of a physical assessment course.
- Member of the Registered Practical Nurses' Association of Ontario (RPNAO).
