Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with our Senior Leadership Team to establish and execute a strategic sales and business development plan, driving growth and expansion of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive growth and expansion of our business
- Collaborate with department leaders to ensure alignment and effective execution of business objectives
- Work closely with the Marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies to promote our business and drive growth
- Provide leadership and guidance to other leaders in the company to enhance their sales and business development skills
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to inform business decisions
- Attend industry events and conferences to stay informed and network with key stakeholders
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a management role in the transportation industry
- Bilingual, French and English
- Strong background in fuels, agricultural, chemicals, and food grade products
- Formal sales or business development experience
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of initiative and ambition
