Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Residential Maintenance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance activities, performing routine repairs, and ensuring that all properties meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
  • Advertise vacancy
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Show apartments and offices to prospective tenants
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • Experience in residential maintenance or a related field
  • Ability to work under pressure and perform repetitive tasks
  • Physical ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility, initiative, and strong organizational skills
