Job Summary

The Maintenance Scheduling Coordinator is a critical role within our plant maintenance group, responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.

This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience working with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain detailed work schedules, ensuring timely completion of tasks and minimizing conflicts.
  • Collaborate with maintenance supervisors and technicians to identify and prioritize work requests, allocating resources accordingly.
  • Review and requisition materials needed for maintenance activities, working closely with storeroom personnel and purchasing teams.
  • Audit the work order kitting process for accuracy and effectiveness, making recommendations for improvement as necessary.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business-related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in maintenance or construction, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of operating procedures and processes, with a focus on safety and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CMMS, and other database applications.
