At undisclosed, we are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Operations Leader to oversee our technical and strategic operations of maintenance and engineering departments.

As Technical Director of Engineering and Maintenance, you will lead a dedicated team of managers, focusing on installation and maintenance of essential process and utility equipment. This role demands technical acumen and leadership for efficient operation of facilities.

  1. Provide Leadership: In plant and maintenance reliability, minimizing downtime and optimizing plant performance.
  2. Collaborate: With staff, students, and departments to execute engineering and maintenance tasks.
  3. Deliver Progress Reports: To the General Manager, including project progress, budget status, deliverables, and timelines.
  4. Identify and Address Risks: To achieve project objectives.

Maintain and Enhance Client Relationships: Representing maintenance and engineering departments and driving continuous improvements.

Compliance with GMP: Adhering to documentation, change controls, and training within the department.

Representation: During regulatory and client audits, instilling confidence in the team.

Teamwork and Performance: Fostering a culture of teamwork and performance, focusing on client and stakeholder satisfaction.

  1. Provide Leadership, Development, and Performance Management: To maintenance and engineering staff.
  2. Generate, Maintain, and Report on Unit Performance Metrics: Driving efficiency and improvements.
  3. Accountability: For financial and human resource budgeting for the unit.

The ideal candidate will hold a professional engineering degree (P.Eng) and have at least seven years of experience in engineering and/or maintenance.

Candidates should demonstrate strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills, with the ability to work under tight project timelines and manage complex projects.
