Registered Nurse - Casual Float Position

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in a Casual Float position at St. Joseph's Hospital. As a member of our nursing team, you will have the opportunity to work in various clinical settings and provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide nursing care to patients in various clinical settings, including medical, surgical, and emergency departments.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct assessments, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements:

  • Current Certificate of Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses.
  • Current CPR Certificate.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within all clinical settings at the St. Joseph's Hospital site.
  • Experience within neurolocomotor services considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated regular attendance at work.

Condition of Employment:

  • This position is conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
  • Offers of employment made to external candidates are conditional upon providing proof of COVID-19 vaccination as per the or proof of valid medical exemption, prior to the offered effective date. If proof of vaccination or valid medical exemption is not provided, the offer of employment is rescinded.
