We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Department Manager to join our team at No Frills. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the efficient running of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to our valued customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Store Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the store, including managing cash office procedures, analyzing reports, and implementing solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of direct reports, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Loss Prevention: Identify and implement strategies to minimize loss and protect company assets.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, management, and customers to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • Availability: Be available to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a positive shopping experience.
  • Technical Skills: Possess strong technical knowledge of front-end operations, including cash handling, inventory management, and loss prevention.
  • Leadership: Have 1-3 years of progressive management experience, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Problem-Solving: Possess strong problem-solving skills, including conflict management, issue resolution, and team building.
  • Communication: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and interpersonal skills.
