**Key Responsibilities**

  • Support educators in the implementation of programs aimed at the overall development of children;
  • Facilitate various activities to promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth;
  • Prepare and serve healthy snacks to ensure children's nutritional needs are met;
  • Set up rooms and furniture for lunch and naps to create a safe and comfortable environment;
  • Assist children in developing good eating, toileting, and dressing habits;
  • Ensure the maintenance of daycare equipment and participate in household chores and cooking food to promote a clean and healthy environment;
  • Discuss children's progress and challenges with other staff to ensure a collaborative approach to child development;
  • May assist educators and supervisors with record keeping to ensure accurate and up-to-date information;
  • Perform all other related tasks related to early childhood education.

**Requirements**

  • Fluency in English and French, both oral and written, and a third language, an asset: Portuguese, Mandarin, or Spanish;
  • Flexibility in terms of schedules to accommodate the needs of the daycare;
  • Interest in working with children and a passion for early childhood education.
