Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Child Psychologist to join our team as a specialist in Long COVID services. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide highly specialized psychological support to patients in the Calderdale and Huddersfield area.
Key Responsibilities:
To Provide Specialized Long COVID Support
- Work closely with colleagues in health to provide highly specialist psychological and neuropsychological assessment, formulation, and therapy for patients with Long COVID.
- Exercise autonomous judgment in matters of professional practice.
Advice and Consultation
- Offer advice and consultation on patients' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and other non-professional carers.
Service Oversight and Dissemination
- Have strategic oversight of the implementation, evaluation, and measurement of the development of the Long COVID psychology service.
- Disseminate psychological ideas to the wider Long COVID community.
General Management and Governance
- Contribute to the general management, governance, and supervision of the wider Clinical Health Psychology Service.
Requirements:
This role requires an individual with exceptional clinical skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work autonomously. The successful candidate will be expected to have relevant qualifications and experience in working with children and adults with Long COVID.
Compensation:
The estimated salary for this position is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. The actual salary will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, and level of experience.
