Medical Oncologist Opportunity at BC Cancer

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer in Prince George, British Columbia. As a Medical Oncologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive cancer care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans, conduct research, and participate in education and training programs.

Responsibilities
  • Provide oncology consultation and patient care
  • Conduct research and participate in clinical trials
  • Teach and mentor medical students and residents
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine
  • Certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
  • Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
