Medical Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer in Prince George, British Columbia. As a Medical Oncologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care, teaching, and research in the field of oncology.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art cancer centre, collaborating with a team of specialized medical oncologists to provide comprehensive care to oncology patients. You will have the opportunity to participate in research and clinical trials, and contribute to the development of new treatments and therapies.
Responsibilities- Provide oncology consultation and patient care
- Teach and mentor medical students and residents
- Contribute to research and clinical trials
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine
- Certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
- Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
