Medical Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer in Prince George, British Columbia. As a Medical Oncologist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with cancer, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for oncology. You will work closely with a team of specialized medical oncologists to provide high-quality care to patients with various types of cancer.
Responsibilities- Provide oncology consultation and patient care
- Participate in teaching and research activities
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Conduct clinical trials and research studies
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine
- A certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
- Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia
- Meet the requirements of credentialing by the Professional Advisory Committee of BC Cancer
