Medical Oncologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Oncologist to join our team at BC Cancer in Prince George, British Columbia.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art cancer centre, providing comprehensive care to patients with various types of cancer. As a Medical Oncologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating cancer patients, as well as participating in research and education initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide oncology consultation and patient care
- Participate in research and clinical trials
- Teach and mentor medical students and residents
- Collaborate with a team of specialized medical oncologists
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine
- Certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology
- Eligibility for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team
