About the Role

Lucas Tree Experts is seeking an experienced Field Safety Trainer to join our team in Halifax, NS. As a skilled arborist and climber, you will be responsible for training and developing our team members in safety protocols and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs for field staff on safety procedures and protocols
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
  • Collaborate with management to develop and implement safety policies and procedures
  • Provide guidance and support to field staff on safety-related issues
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in safety and training
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the tree care industry, with a focus on safety and training
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering effective training programs
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
