About the Role:


We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Financial Reporting. This role is responsible for delivering professional services and financial solutions to the organization, ensuring policies, programs, and strategies are conceptualized, developed, and implemented effectively.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform complex analyses and operational reports for high-level or external audiences
  • Understand, interpret, and explain financial accounting standards, corporate policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines
  • Provide expertise, analysis, and advice to internal and external stakeholders to enable the business to deliver on operational and financial reporting efficiently and effectively
  • Act as a consultative partner by providing guidance on the application of International Financial Reporting Standards
  • Develop schedules, deadlines, and project timelines for and overseeing execution of the capital planning budget process


Requirements:


To be successful in this role, you will have:



  • An accredited professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA)
  • A minimum of five years of progressively responsible accounting experience
  • Advanced knowledge of principles of accounting with the ability to apply them in a practical way
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong and trusting relationships with managers, employees, and peers
  • Exceptional time management and multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work within established deadlines and time constraints
