We are seeking a talented Data Observability Engineer to accelerate building reliable data products. Our industry-leading platform, powered by Airflow, helps unlock insights, unleash AI value, and drive data-driven applications.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

Job Description
  • We need your expertise to contribute to OpenLineage and Airflow Open Source community enhancements.
  • You will design, develop, and envision Astro Observe's ingestion pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user requirements and implement observable features.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven focus on customer visibility and actionable insights through observability offerings.
  • Strong experience with Python programming language.
  • Familiarity with fast-paced startup environments.
  • Proficiency in software development best practices, such as code reviews, testing, CI/CD, version control, automation, and debugging.
  • Experience with data observability products and SQL, OLAP databases.
