Role Overview:

Trotman Auto Group is seeking a skilled Digital Marketing Assistant to support the marketing efforts of our dealer group. As a key member of our marketing team, you will contribute to the success of a leading auto group that is working to consistently deliver a customer experience with trust, ease, and convenience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns across all digital platforms (website, email, social media, paid advertising)
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations for optimization
  • Create, edit, and manage engaging content for social media, the TAG website, and individual dealer websites
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and message across all marketing channels
  • Compose compelling monthly blog posts for dealer websites
  • Create engaging content for dealer websites that is also optimized for search engines
  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
  • Prepare monthly reports on marketing activities, performance metrics, and market trends
  • Optimize and manage online reputation platforms, including Google Business Profile and Apple Maps

Requirements:

  • 2 – 4 years of digital marketing experience for a brand or company
  • Excellent written communication skills, specifically related to blog writing and social captions
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Basic understanding of SEO
  • Experience growing following and engagement across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
  • Experience managing multiple brands or voices
  • Google and Facebook Ads experience preferred, but not required
  • Automotive experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience with email marketing preferred, but not required
