Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

Aberfoyle Convenience is seeking a highly skilled Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, and ensuring the smooth operation of our store.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, including assigning duties and providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering merchandise and authorizing returns.
  • Prepare sales reports and provide insights to management on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
Requirements:
  • 3-4 years of retail experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and store profitability.
Working Conditions:
  • Fast-paced retail environment, with a focus on customer satisfaction and store profitability.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with frequent use of computer and other office equipment.
