Agricultural Sales Director

Lucent BioSciences Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to lead our agricultural sales team and drive business growth in the US and Canada.
About the Role:The Sales Director will be responsible for identifying and integrating new business opportunities, leading a team of regional sales agronomists, and developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business expansion and revenue growth.
- Lead a team of sales agronomists and provide guidance and mentorship to ensure maximum performance and professional development.
- Conduct performance evaluations, set performance goals, and implement incentive programs to motivate and reward high achievers.
- Lead negotiations for major accounts, contracts, and partnership agreements to drive revenue growth and enhance client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and market positioning.
- Conduct regular sales reviews and performance analysis to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for optimization.
- Develop and manage sales budgets, expense forecasts, and resource allocation plans to optimize cost-effectiveness and ROI.
- Bachelor's degree or post-secondary diploma in a related field.
- At least five years' experience in sales leadership roles.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing team members across large territories.
- Strong knowledge of the agricultural industry and farming practices throughout Canada and the US.
