Sales Director

We are seeking a seasoned Sales Director to accelerate our growth in the North American market. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales expansion, leading a team of sales reps, and developing strategic sales plans to achieve company objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and Pursue New Business Opportunities: Analyze market trends, emerging sales channels, and growth opportunities to drive business expansion.
- Lead and Develop the Sales Team: Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance evaluations to maximize team performance and professional development.
- Negotiate Major Accounts and Contracts: Lead negotiations for key accounts, contracts, and partnership agreements to drive revenue growth and enhance client satisfaction.
- Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Analyze market data, competitive intelligence, and customer insights to develop effective sales strategies and tactics.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with marketing, product development, and other teams to align sales strategies with product offerings and market positioning.
- Proven Sales Leadership Experience: At least 5 years of experience in sales leadership roles, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing team members across large territories.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the agricultural industry and farming practices throughout Canada and the US.
