Job Title: Construction Team Lead
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Team Lead to join our team in Winnipeg, MB. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of exterior building products on residential properties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise the activities of construction workers engaged in exterior installations
* Install, repair and service exterior products such as exterior cladding systems, lap siding, panel systems, metal panels, metal flashing, exterior air and vapour barriers using hand and power tools, metal forming machines, metal breaks
* Read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
* Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
* Requisition required materials and supplies from company staff to complete assigned projects
* Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
* Recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions
* Other duties as apply
Requirements:
* Punctual and able to work effectively under pressure
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Ability to lift 100lbs and work in all weather conditions
* Good math skills and attention to detail
* Drivers license is an asset
Benefits:
* Competitive salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year (dependent on experience)
