Job Description:

Eaton Corporation is currently seeking a highly skilled Project Specialist to join their Electrical Division. This role will be responsible for managing the technical aspects of complex project orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of project commitments.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience working on large-scale projects in the industry. They will serve as a customer advocate, communicating effectively with project managers, plants, field sales, and other internal departments to ensure successful project execution.

The Project Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the technical integrity of assembled-to-order projects, reviewing and issuing drawings, and providing technical clarifications. They will also manage multiple project orders, prioritize tasks effectively, and work collaboratively with the sales team to meet customer needs.

A key aspect of this role is effective communication with external stakeholders, including contractors, industrials, distributors, consulting engineers, and OEMs. The successful candidate will be able to lead customer review meetings, participate in witness test or inspection visits, and communicate effectively with customers regarding project status.

In terms of qualifications, the successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, and have a minimum of 5 years' experience working on complex projects in the electrical industry. Proficiency in English and French is an asset, as well as professional certification such as P.Eng or C.Designation.
