About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Silver Creek Lodge. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing
    • Sweep, mop, and polish floors to a high standard
    • Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
    • Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture
    • Make beds and change sheets in a timely and efficient manner
  • Laundry and Linen Management
    • Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry and linens
    • Iron and press clothing and linens as needed
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to guests and clients
    • Respond to guest requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Housekeeping Operations
    • Stock and maintain linen closets and supply rooms
    • Clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
    • Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners
  • Special Projects
    • Participate in deep cleaning projects and special events
    • Assist with move-in and move-out cleaning as needed
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • Experience
      • Experience in housekeeping or a related field is an asset
    • Skills
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
      • Excellent communication and customer service skills
      • Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and bending
      Work Environment

As a Housekeeping Team Member at Silver Creek Lodge, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
