About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Food Service Team Member at Famous Chinese Restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Operate dishwashers, wash and sanitize dishes, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
    • Restock supplies, including condiments, utensils, and linens, to ensure a smooth service.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Take orders accurately and efficiently, using a point-of-sale system to process transactions.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance
    • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors.
    • Restock supplies, including paper products, cleaning chemicals, and trash bags.
    • Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a seamless service.
    • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to resolve any issues or concerns.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • Experience in a food service or hospitality environment is an asset.
  • Work Environment
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
    • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment.
