About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Sunset Resorts Canmore. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our resort's rooms, public areas, and facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure that all rooms, public areas, and facilities are clean, tidy, and well-maintained.
  • Housekeeping Tasks: Perform a variety of housekeeping tasks, including sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture, making beds, and changing sheets.
  • Laundry and Linen: Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry, and ensure that all linens are clean and in good condition.
  • Guest Services: Provide excellent customer service to our guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a housekeeping or related role is preferred.
  • Work Setting: Our resort offers staff accommodation, and you will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Physical Capabilities: You must be able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods, and be physically fit to perform the demands of the role.
  • Personal Suitability: You must be reliable, have a strong attention to detail, and be able to work independently.
