About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Silver Creek Lodge. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Laundry and Linen: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
  • Shopping and Supplies: Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Special Tasks: Clean changing rooms and showers, address customers' complaints or concerns.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: Ability to work independently, fast-paced environment, work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, combination of sitting, standing, walking.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
