We are seeking a dedicated and caring Daycare Worker to join our team at Edgemont Childcare Centre.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will assist early childhood educators in implementing programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This role involves engaging children in activities, preparing snacks, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing programs that promote children's development
- Engage children in activities that promote learning and socialization, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts
- Prepare healthy snacks and maintain a clean and safe environment
- Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
- Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Work Term: Permanent
- Work Language: English
- Hours: 35 hours per week
