Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Childcare Assistant to join our team at Brentwood Childcare Center. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children to grow and develop.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with early childhood educators to design and implement engaging programs that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Engage children in activities that foster their creativity, curiosity, and love for learning, such as storytelling, singing, and arts and crafts.
  • Prepare healthy snacks and ensure the children's physical needs are met during rest periods.
  • Document children's progress and observations, providing valuable insights for educators and supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress, share ideas, and address any challenges that may arise.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a regular 35-hour workweek. The work environment is dynamic, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Fluency in English is required.
