Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Childcare Assistant to join our team at Brentwood Childcare Center. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young children to grow and develop.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with early childhood educators to design and implement engaging programs that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Plan and lead activities that stimulate children's curiosity and creativity, such as storytelling, singing, and arts and crafts.
  • Prepare healthy snacks and maintain a clean and organized environment for children's meals and rest periods.
  • Document children's progress and share observations with educators and supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any challenges or concerns.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The work environment is a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The primary language of communication is English.
