Job Summary

Royal Bank of Canada is seeking talented and motivated individuals to fill various Developer Co-op positions in our Technology and Operations team. As a Developer Co-op, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, collaborate with peers, and develop your technical skills.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires 37.5 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will be enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on computer science, engineering, or technology. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as leadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with peers to develop code in line with strategic initiatives
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications and coordinate design phases
  • Create and review technical design documents and facilitate meetings to design, troubleshoot, and execute projects
  • Participate in walkthrough reviews of technical specifications, programs, code, and unit test plans
  • Conduct thorough unit testing and improve performance of single functions through performance tuning
Benefits
