Job Title: Technical Sales Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Specialist to join our team at U V CONN INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting sales to existing clients, identifying and soliciting potential clients, and assessing client needs to recommend the appropriate goods or services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote sales to existing clients and identify new business opportunities
  • Assess client needs and resources to recommend the appropriate goods or services
  • Develop reports and proposals to illustrate benefits from use of goods or services
  • Deliver sales presentations and use sales forecasting software
  • Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
  • Provide input into product design where goods or services must be tailored to suit client needs
  • Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
  • Resolve product and service related problems and troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Supervise activities of other technical sales specialists and estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or services

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in sales and technical sales
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and MS PowerPoint
  • Experience in consulting services, electrical and electronic equipment, and telecommunications equipment and services
  • Basic security clearance
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with tight deadlines
  • Physically demanding role requiring attention to detail
  • Efficient interpersonal skills, organized, reliable, and a team player
