Vegetable Farm Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vegetable Farm Foreman/Woman to join our team at Barrich Farms (2020) Ltd.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure Farm Safety and Bio-Security
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed, maintaining a clean and healthy work environment for our staff and crops.
Supervise and Oversee Crop OperationsThe successful candidate will supervise and oversee all growing and crop-related operations, ensuring that our crops are grown to the highest standards.
Perform General Farm DutiesOur Vegetable Farm Foreman/Woman will be responsible for performing general farm duties, including but not limited to, crop maintenance, irrigation, and equipment operation.
Detect and Address Crop Health IssuesThe ideal candidate will be responsible for detecting and addressing any disease or health problems in our crops, livestock, and poultry, taking prompt action to prevent the spread of disease.
Train and Develop StaffOur successful candidate will be responsible for training and developing our staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties to the highest standards.
Schedule and Coordinate ActivitiesThe Vegetable Farm Foreman/Woman will be responsible for scheduling and coordinating all farm activities, ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements- Experience
Our ideal candidate will have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of crop production and farm operations.
EducationA high school diploma or equivalent is required, with no degree, certificate, or diploma.
Work EnvironmentThe successful candidate will be working in a rural area, with staff accommodation available.
LanguageOur ideal candidate will be fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with our staff and stakeholders.
Work HoursThe Vegetable Farm Foreman/Woman will be required to work 40 to 60 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
