We are seeking a skilled and motivated Vegetable Farm Worker to join our team at Monette Farms Ltd. As a key member of our agricultural team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our vegetable crops.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vegetable Crop Management
    • Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to size, shape, color, and volume to maximize market value.
    • Hand harvest vegetables to ensure optimal quality and quantity.
    • Plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops to promote healthy growth and development.
    • Weeding and fertilizing crops to prevent pests and diseases.
    • Harvest crops at the optimal time to ensure maximum quality and yield.
    • Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce, livestock, and poultry.
    • Examine products for quality and readiness for market.
    • Perform general farm duties as required.
    • Maintain farm machinery, equipment, and buildings to ensure optimal performance and safety.
    • Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times.
    • Load and unload vehicles using a forklift or dolly.
