KPMG in Canada is seeking an experienced Tax Planning Lead to join our team. In this critical role, you will work closely with Partners on tax planning initiatives and requirements, utilizing your exceptional organizational skills to direct the work of junior staff.

About the Role
This leadership position offers a unique opportunity to drive business growth, develop strategic partnerships, and foster a culture of excellence within our organization. As a Tax Planning Lead, you will be responsible for:
  • Leading client engagements and developing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Collaborating with Partners to design and implement tax planning strategies that drive business results.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior staff to ensure their success and growth within the organization.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will require a minimum of 5 years' experience specializing in tax in a public accounting firm, accompanied by a professional accounting designation or equivalent. Additionally, you should have completed, or nearly completed, the CPA In-Depth Tax Course. A strong background in project management and organizational skills, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, will also be essential. Furthermore, you must be highly motivated, dedicated, and driven to achieve high standards of client service and professionalism in the performance of duties.

Compensation Package
The expected salary range for this position is $73,500 to $109,500 per annum, with potential bonus awards available.
