About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at Eagle Mart. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store meets its sales and profitability targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision

You will be responsible for supervising and managing a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales associates, and design team members. This will involve assigning duties, providing guidance and support, and ensuring that all staff members are meeting their performance targets.

Sales and Merchandising

You will be responsible for managing the sales floor, including merchandising, inventory management, and visual merchandising. This will involve working closely with our buying team to ensure that our store is stocked with the latest products and trends.

Customer Service

You will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service, including responding to customer inquiries, resolving customer complaints, and providing product recommendations.

Store Operations

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security.

Reporting and Analysis

You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing sales reports, including sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.

Requirements
  • Education

A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Experience

At least 1 year of experience in a retail management role is required.

Skills

You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure.

Physical Demands

You will need to be able to stand for extended periods, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
