Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

JAG 'N SUGAR RESTAURANTS INC. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to oversee the daily operations of our food service department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring accurate ordering and inventory management.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and wastage to inform business decisions.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure staff are adequately trained and prepared for their roles.
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of 3-4 people. The work schedule will be 37.5 hours per week.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.
