Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Combined Lab & X-ray Technologist (CLXT) Supervisor to lead our team at Heiltsuk Hospital in Bella Bella, BC.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate technical staff activities to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Oversee the quality of work performed and participate in recruitment, performance management, and coaching of team members.
- Work within the Diagnostic Accreditation Program (DAP) standards to ensure quality services to patients/clients.
- Recommend updates to policies, protocols, and procedures, and compile financial and statistical reports.
- Liaise with other departments to facilitate the provision of effective and appropriate services that meet client needs.
- Perform technical duties as required.
This is a leadership role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements- Graduated from a recognized Combined Laboratory and X-ray Technologist/Technician program.
- Registered with a recognized provincial professional association.
- Two (2) years recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
