About the Role
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Combined Lab & Radiology Technologist (CLXT) to join the Clinical Laboratory team at Bella Coola General Hospital.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine technological duties, maintain standards, quality control, and troubleshoot issues in both the x-ray and lab departments.
- Maintain and work within the Diagnostic Accreditation Program (DAP) standards.
About the Team
The Clinical Laboratory team at Bella Coola General Hospital provides diagnostic services to patients in the community. As a CLXT, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results.
Requirements
- Graduation from a recognized Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist/Technician Program.
- Experience or program-based instruction in transfusion medicine.
- Eligibility for membership with the British Columbia Society of Laboratory Science, the Canadian Society of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists, and/or other recognized professional organizations.
