About the Role
Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking a skilled Combined Lab & Radiology Technologist (CLXT) to join our team at the Heiltsuk Hospital in Bella Bella, BC.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine technological duties, maintain standards, quality control, and maintain instruments in both the x-ray and lab departments.
- Maintain and work within the Diagnostic Accreditation Program (DAP) standards.
About the Heiltsuk Hospital
The Heiltsuk Hospital is a 7-acute bed hospital with 7 long-term care beds and a 4-bed emergency department open 24/7. It offers telehealth services, specialty clinics, and laboratory and diagnostic imaging services.
Qualifications
- Graduated from a recognized Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist/Technician Program.
- Experience or program/curriculum-based instruction in transfusion medicine.
- Eligible for membership with the British Columbia Society of Laboratory Science, the Canadian Society of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists, and/or other recognized and related professional organizations.
