Job Summary
We are seeking a Combined Lab & Radiology Technologist (CLXT) to join our Clinical Laboratory team at Bella Coola General Hospital. As a CLXT, you will be responsible for performing routine technological duties, maintaining standards, quality control, and scheduling of patients in both the x-ray and lab departments.
About the Role
- Perform routine technological duties, including maintaining standards, quality control, and scheduling of patients in both the x-ray and lab departments.
- Maintain and work within the Diagnostic Accreditation Program (DAP) standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest medical technologies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Graduated from a recognized Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist/Technician Program.
- Experience or program/curriculum-based instruction in transfusion medicine.
- Eligible for membership with the British Columbia Society of Laboratory Science, the Canadian Society of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists, and/or other recognized and related professional organizations.
