Job Title: Executive Chef Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at Shamin Enterprises Ltd. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements to meet the needs of our discerning customers.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food to ensure consistency and excellence across all aspects of our kitchen operations.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed to support the efficient operation of our kitchen.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that tasks are completed to a high standard and on time.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment to inform ordering and budgeting decisions.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.

  • Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, as well as a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
