About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiving Professional to join our team at VON Canada. As a key member of our home care and visiting care agency, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply and empty bed pans, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our patients.
  • Serve meal trays and feed patients, promoting their nutritional well-being.
  • Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients with care and attention to detail.
  • Maintain patients' rooms, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic space.
  • Manage inventory of supplies, ensuring we have the necessary resources to provide excellent care.
  • Bathe, dress, and groom patients with dignity and respect.
  • Administer first aid in emergency situations, prioritizing patient safety.
Requirements
  • Continuing Care Assistant Certification.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check, Vulnerable sector check, and Tuberculosis test.
