About the Role:

As a Restaurant Operations Leader at SSP Canada, you will be responsible for partnering with the Restaurant General Manager to lead a high-performing restaurant team. If you have a proven ability to effectively manage conflict, work under pressure, and deal with high-stress situations while exercising sound judgment and decision making, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

- Recruit, train, and develop a team of Food Travel Experts, ensuring they implement and maintain guest service standards and brand specifications.
- Maintain all merchandising standards, display presentations, and signing standards, and monitor inventory levels.
- Develop, plan, and assign daily goals, tasks, and Team Member assignments.
- Manage, supervise, and evaluate Team Member performance through follow-up to ensure proper completion of assigned tasks and goals, and provide feedback including disciplinary action.
- Assist in monitoring sales performance through the analysis of sales reports and comparison shopping.
- Maintain adherence to all company policies and procedures, as well as provincial health/sanitation standards.
- Manage all office tasks, including management of funds, receiving, inventory, purchasing, team member scheduling, and payroll.

Requirements:

- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the food & beverage industry, in a management capacity.
- Food and Beverage experience in a casual dining setting is strongly preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effective organizational maturity to prioritize daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly activities.
