As a Business Systems Analyst - Payments, you will play a critical role in collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze business domains, create and groom product backlogs, and facilitate common understanding and consensus of epics and features.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with a cross-functional feature team to analyze business domains and create product backlogs.
  2. Partner with technology teams across IT&S to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
  3. Assist Product Owner in analyzing business domains and creating product backlogs.
  4. Facilitate common understanding and consensus of epics and features within the team.
  5. Learn and understand various flows and functionality within the existing channels platform and their dependencies on upstream systems and applications.
  6. Stretch skills and competencies to serve cross-functional needs of the team and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  7. Conduct impact analyses and identify areas for improvement.
Candidate Requirements:
  1. 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst, preferably in the banking industry.
  2. 3+ years of experience in deep analysis work in a collaborative Agile software development lab.
  3. 3+ years of experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  4. 3+ years of experience with data management and analysis.
  5. Demonstrated experience with whiteboarding and visualization skills and PowerPoint.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  1. Experience working under an Agile framework, including Kanban and Scrum.
  2. System testing experience.
  3. Cross-domain exposure in banking and finance.
Soft Skills:
  1. Excellent facilitation skills.
  2. Absolute team player.
  3. Ability to work independently.
  4. Keen appreciation for user-centric design and customer-driven product development.
  5. Ability to ask strong questions to help the team identify impediments and areas of improvement.
  6. Open and curious mindset, with a willingness to experiment and learn.
Education:

Post-secondary education or equivalent work experience.
