Job Title: Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Fleming Farms Senior Living. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of our financial plans and strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide financial analysis and planning support to the finance team, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial planning and forecasting models, including asset lifecycle plans, utility rate plans, and cash management models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies and policies.
  • Provide financial support to the Controller and Assistant Controller, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the City's long-term financial plan, including financial sustainability framework and related policies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field of study.
  • Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, financial analysis, operating and capital budgets, and strategic planning in the public sector environment.
  • Knowledge of municipal government finance, including financial reporting standards, procedures, and compliance requirements.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of treasury functions, including cash management, liquidity analysis, and risk management.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify problems, and recommend solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
