Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Recruitment Partners Inc. in Edmonton.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in financial management, with experience in budget and forecast preparation, and the development of internal control policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash flow, and banking.
  • Prepare budgets and financial forecasts, as well as monthly financial statements and reports.
  • Provide strategic financial and cash flow guidance to the company's principals and assist in the financial management of the company.
  • Assist with managing financial relationships with the company's stakeholders.
  • Prepare year-end working papers and financial statements for all entities.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Develop and document business policies and procedures to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of combined accounting and finance experience.
  • Proven working experience as a senior accountant and/or leadership role of at least 3 years is an asset.
  • Experience in a professional office environment is an asset.
  • Extensive knowledge of ASPE.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving using critical thinking, experience, and resources.
