Senior Software Testing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Testing Specialist to join our team at Navro. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in defining and executing our automation testing strategy to ensure the reliability and quality of our platform and services.

As a Senior Software Testing Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, co-developing, and automating software test plans and test cases. You will champion continuous improvement through experimentation, retrospection, and innovation, ensuring that our testing processes remain at the forefront of industry standards.

We are building the world's first regulated payments curation layer, and we need a talented individual like you to help us achieve this goal. Our backend is developed predominantly on Java with SpringBoot and SpringCloud, and our frontend in Next.js. You will work closely with our engineering teams to identify testing goals and needs, and drive a culture of knowledge sharing to close knowledge gaps.

Key responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test plans and test cases
  • Champion continuous improvement through experimentation and innovation
  • Work closely with engineering teams to identify testing goals and needs
  • Drive a culture of knowledge sharing to close knowledge gaps
  • Mentor and guide team members in testing methodologies and best practices

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills with a solid knowledge of Java and ideally JavaScript
  • Knowledge of software testing methodologies like Behavior-Driven Development and testing principles
  • Practical experience with Contract Testing using Pact
  • Familiarity with performance & load testing tools
  • Strong leadership skills to mentor and guide team members
