We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager for Capital Projects Coordination to join our team at the CRD. This role will be responsible for providing project controls support for capital projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain comprehensive master schedules for all projects within capital programs, supporting workflow planning, resourcing, and reporting.
- Prepare individual project schedules in various formats as directed by project managers and leadership, analyzing contractor and consultant schedule submissions.
- Establish and monitor project budgets and detailed work breakdown structures (WBS) to support leadership and project managers in monitoring financial health.
- Support regular project reporting, cash flow forecasting, and develop project update reports as directed.
- Collaborate with management staff, project managers, consultants, contractors, and other parties to ensure effective and consistent project controls between multiple projects.
- Degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 6 years' directly related experience.
- In-depth understanding of Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), preferably related to municipal infrastructure improvement projects.
- Excellent analytical skills, detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
- Advanced skills in creating, monitoring, and manipulating complex schedules in MS Project, with experience in Primavera P6 and other project management software considered an asset.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of project controls and its application in improving project delivery. Experience working on complex project-focused work as part of a diverse team is essential.
CompensationThe estimated annual salary range for this position is $98,944 - $112,372, based on the company's standard compensation practices and industry benchmarks.
