Overview

Canterra Group, a leading name in Western Canada's general contracting sector, is seeking an experienced Interior Project Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of successfully leading small to medium-sized interiors projects as the main Superintendent, with expertise in delivering projects across commercial, retail, healthcare, education, or institutional sectors.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $125,000 - $165,000 per year, plus performance-based bonuses and comprehensive benefits. Additionally, employees are eligible for an employee share ownership program, providing opportunities for long-term financial growth.

Job Description

As an Interior Project Manager, you will lead the charge on projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met with precision and care. You'll work closely with engineering, estimating, and planning teams to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Coordinating scopes of work with sub-contractors
  • Maintaining relationships with stakeholders to ensure project success
  • Managing site staff allocation, quality control, sub-trade coordination, project scheduling, field cost control, and safety
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 15 years of construction experience, with 5 years in a supervisor capacity role with a General Contractor
  • A trade ticket, diploma, or degree in Construction, Engineering, or Architectural Science
  • Experience building commercial, institutional, or medical facility interiors projects would be an asset
  • Proven ability to manage project values $1M - 30M
  • Proven ability to lead mid-sized teams
