Overview

KPMG in Canada is seeking a talented Quality Assurance Consultant to join our IT Advisory team. As a key member of our team, you will participate in the creation and execution of test cases to meet deadlines and manage and support team in creating reusable test assets for manual and automated test scripts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test strategies, plans, and schedules to ensure effective testing of ERP systems
  • Manage the full testing lifecycle, including test case development, execution, and closure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business process owners, IT, and project management office to ensure effective planning and coordination of support partners
  • Communicate and address scope changes that impact testing
  • Conduct test case reviews to ensure scenarios accurately capture business functionality
  • Work collaboratively with a team in an Agile-Scrum environment
  • Support Testing Services practice development and sales generation activities

Requirements

  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Experience working in large ERP project environments
  • An understanding of the system development life cycle
  • 3+ years of experience in a QA and Test Consultant role; with strong track record for delivery
  • Exposure to Test Automation tools and scripting (QTP/UFT, Selenium, Katalon, Cypress)
  • Strong understanding of QA concepts and methodologies in testing of ERP's (Oracle, SAP, MS Dynamics, Workday)
  • University Degree or College Diploma
  • ISTQB certification is an asset
  • Experience with Test Management tools (DevOps, ALM, JIRA, Xray, Zephyr) and Confluence
  • Project Management Certification (PMP) is an asset
